With the growing use of smartphones, many companies have developed their own applications to make using their products easier on a mobile device. Here is the breakdown of the most popular FREE applications available that might prove useful for business professionals and students. The winner is up to you to crown.

iPhone:

Wikipanion

Custom formats Wikipedia pages for the iPhone, allowing easier viewing and faster loading than regular mobile browsing.

PocketMoney Lite

Makes managing personal finances easy by tracking expenses and income. Never lose receipts again by storing photos of them in this application. Full version available for $4.99.

CheckPlease Lite

Calculates the tip on a bill or can split the bill for the number of people in your party quickly and accurately.
